Blog Roll

Earth’Sage – This platform is a fellow GVSU student-run blog that involves interdisciplinary discussion on the environment from the standpoints of psychology, environmentalism, activism, and more.

Crunk Feminist Collective – “The Crunk Feminist Collective (CFC) will create a space of support and camaraderie for hip hop generation feminists of color, queer and straight, in the academy and without, by building a rhetorical community, in which we can discuss our ideas, express our crunk feminist selves,  fellowship with one another, debate and challenge one another, and support each other, as we struggle together to articulate our feminist goals, ideas, visions, and dreams in ways that are both personally and professionally beneficial.”

Everyday Feminism – “Everyday Feminism is an educational platform for personal and social liberation. Our mission is to help people dismantle everyday violence, discrimination, and marginalization through applied intersectional feminism and to create a world where self-determination and loving communities are social norms through compassionate activism.”

Feministing – “Feministing is an online community run by and for young feminists. For over a decade, we’ve been offering sharp, uncompromising feminist analysis of everything from pop culture to politics and inspiring young people to make real-world feminist change, online and off.”

Our Bodies Ourselves – “Our Bodies Ourselves advances health and human rights within a framework of values shaped by women’s voices and a commitment to self-determination and equality.”

BitchMedia – “Bitch Media is a nonprofit, independent, feminist media organization dedicated to providing and encouraging an engaged, thoughtful feminist response to mainstream media and popular culture.”

Are Women Human? – “AWH? is a blog about issues of gender and sexuality in Christian communities, and broader social justice issues in the church.  AWH? exists to create greater awareness about the oppression of marginalized groups in Christian churches, provide a safe space where people can safely discuss their experiences in the church, and be a voice for greater equality and justice in the church.”

The Establishment – “The conversation is much more interesting when everyone has a voice. Media funded & run by women.”
